The Onyx Mirage keeps the lights on, the drinks flowing, and the debts endless.
Night after night, you spin the wheel, deal the hands, and tell yourself if you work hard enough, you'll make it out. But in a city where luck runs dry and organized crime rules the streets, all it takes is catching the wrong person's eye to turn your life into the next wager...
This demo was created for the Yandere Game Jam 2025 and features one yandere Love Interest.

everything about this demo was 5 shiny stars, I am obsessed with the beautiful art style, the atmosphere and casino/mafia vibes, the mystery, the clever writing and YOUR MAN IS STUNNING AND OH SO COMPELLING, his sprite has me gnawing at the bars of my cage 💕💕
I am so buzzed for what’s to come, I feel MC and Riven are in for a wild ride and I can’t wait to see how their relationship and the story unfolds. 🥰

Where do I even begin?? First of all, the UI, game page, BG, and ambience is perfect for the game! I'm biased towards casino themes too so it's extra appealing to me 🙈🙈 Then, the writing! Despite this being a demo, I've found it to be pleasantly and cleverly written from start to finish. I fear I've been hooked.
And of course, Riven is so!!!! I find him to be a perfect mix of seductive and manipulative, not to mention his design. He's very handsome and i will alwaaays eat up a strategically placed beauty mark <33
To me, his obsession contains a certain (mad) reverence, especially in certain choices, that I really like in yanderes 🫶 Definitely definitely looking forward to the full game/next update! Great work as usual ♡♡

You're way off. Otome games just need a female-identifying protagonist (she/her or she/they), including customizable ones—end of story. Check out the Otome Jam 2024 page if you need a reality check.
But let’s be real, based on your previous comments, your 1-star reviews aren’t about game quality. They’re just you throwing a fit over LGBT+ inclusivity. You’ve called pansexuality "imaginary," dismissed biromantic asexuality as just "low sex drive," and acted like queer people have no place in VNs. Not to mention whining about diversity like it’s some evil "American politics" thing.

Ahh tyty, I’m so glad you think so!! 😆🫶 I thought of the setting before I started designing him, I wanted to draw inspiration from Las Vegas during the period where there was a lot of mob influence.
Riven was originally going to be merged with the other group as one large family but then I was like hmmm… what if I make them rivals instead? 🤣 Riven’s actually not the boss, but he does play a key role. Hahah all will become clear once there’s more content out! I appreciate the interest 🫶

loved it!!!! finally got to play through the demos I wanted to in the game jam and I was so impressed with yours!!! the atmosphere, the hidden storyline behind the secret cg (not spoiling 0.o) and the unanswered questions bring it to life so much! literally cannot wait for any kind of story expansion/update so we can know more! especially abt us the mc :) always gotta know my girl's lore before i pick a side! also riven is veryy tempting to side with anyway and ignore all reason :) the bgs too, amazing. made me wanna go to a roulette table and i dont even gamble. 10/10

Oh my goodness, this demo has left me... well, ravenous! Riven is absolutely gorgeous (I love his subtle expressions) and I love how you've written him! The second scene had me absolutely gripped as he really feels like someone who's believably not in his right mind.
The cold finality of his statements! The inability to keep his hands off of the MC! The way he's looking out for them in his own way! Absolutely loved it! <3 "It seems you keep clinging to the idea that you're better than this" was my favourite line! It really sold the moment for me :) Will be eagerly anticipating the full version! Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
